Winter Bridal Portraits in Glacier National Park

Most people don’t realize that Glacier National Park is open during the winter. While a lot of the iconic areas for photos are not accessible, Lake McDonald still is.

Lake McDonald freezes over during the winter and thus it makes it possible to walk out onto the lake. With the help of my beautiful friend Mackenzie we were able to create a stylized shoot on the beautiful frozen lake.

We were able to work with some amazing vendors to pull off this bridal shoot. Mum’s Flowers in Whitefish, MT provided us with an elegant white bouquet and Pineapple Gowns Dress Rentals provided us with the stunning dress.

I hope that these photos can inspire any brides out there, that Glacier National Park is still stunning in the winter and beautiful elopements are possible even in our colder months here in Montana.
